POP Tennis

In POP Tennis, the court is a little smaller, the ball a little slower, the racquet a little shorter — the combination of which add up to a lot of fun.

POP Tennis is a great starter sport for beginners of all ages, an easy way for social tennis players to switch up their routine or for competitors to find new ways to win. POP Tennis is most frequently played in a doubles format, although, popularity in singles play is increasing, so grab a mate and try the sport soon to sweep the globe.

The sport appeals to a range of ages and experience levels given the low barriers to learn to play.

“One of the most significant differences with tennis is that POP requires an underarm drop serve to start a point, which is a skill that is quite natural and easy to learn in comparison to tennis… you can pretty much rock up to a game, learn the rules for scoring and you are all set to have a wonderful social, fun, active time’ – explains coach Sergio from Highlands Tennis.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never played before, your coach is trained to introduce you to the game in a fun and nurturing way and cater for all skill and fitness levels. So while it’s great for beginners, more experienced tennis players will also have a great time and be challenged.

Pickleball

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the United States of America. Many tennis courts, parking lots and even golf courses have been converted to pickleball courts due to its addictive nature and popularity.
Combining elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong, pickleball is a paddle sport played on a smaller court (compared to tennis) and hollow polymer balls.
The sport appeals to a range of ages and experience levels given the low barriers to learn to play.
